Use PDF to PPTX when the PDF came from slides

PDF to PPTX works best when the PDF is already presentation-like: one slide per page, clear visuals, and simple layouts. It is useful when the original deck is lost but the PDF still exists.

After conversion, expect to review text boxes, image placement, charts, and spacing before presenting or editing heavily.

When PDF should stay PDF

If the goal is sharing or printing, PPTX may not be necessary. Keep a stable PDF for handouts, applications, client review, and uploads where no one needs to edit the slides.

Quality checklist

Check slide order, fonts, cropped images, chart readability, page size, and whether text became editable or stayed image-based. Keep the PDF as the reference copy while editing the PPTX.
